A New Home Away from Home

First is was a dream, then a simple drawing. Next a capital campaign with countless friends pitching in. We went from blueprint to building …

Now our new house is “a home away from home” for our guests.

A larger facility featuring the ultimate in accessibility with modern amenities and more than two dozen parking spaces
20 guest rooms, each with a private bathroom, television, phone and heating/cooling units
Two kitchens for guest use
A dining room that can accommodate 20 guests
Parlor, multipurpose room, lounge areas (both inside and outside)
New day services that allow people staying in hospital waiting rooms to shower, launder clothing and enjoy a home-cooked meal
Dedicated guest laundry facilities
Three lounge areas on the first floor with Wi-Fi available for guests’ email and medical research needs

A tranquil, relaxing setting away from the chaotic hospital environment
