Race Information

The clubs at RIVER CITY and Family House invite you to join us for this 19th annual run/walk -- an Illinois Valley Striders Grand Prix Race.  Refreshments will be available for all participants following the race.

Date: Saturday, June 7, 2008
   
Time/Distance: 8:00 a.m. - 5K Run, 5K Walk
  8:00 a.m. - 1 Mile Fitness Walk
  8:00 a.m. - 1 Mile Children's Run
9:00 a.m. - Children's Fun Run
   
Entry Fees: $20 - 5K Run, 5K Walk
$25 - After May 31, 2008
$10 - 1 Mile Children's Run
$10 - Children's Fun Run
   
Late Sign-Up: Race Day  6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
$25 Entry Fee -  5K Run, 5K Walk

This race is in honor of Carolyn Mannlein, a dedicated volunteer who gave freely of her time and expertise.  She developed a financial system and coordinated volunteers during the early years at Family House.

Divisions & Awards

Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division.  Trophies will also be awarded to overall winners (male and female) in each division (5K only).

Group Registration

Your Run/Walk can be a group effort!  Any business or group of friends can register as a team by sending in 5 or more entry forms/checks in one envelope.  To qualify as a group team, entries must be sent in together.  Group name and Captain must be indicated on the entry form.  Medals will be awarded to the top running team.
