A Place To Call Home
Staffed 24-hours a day, 365 days a year by a caring and compassionate staff, Family House has 20 guest rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, large dining room, laundry facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, three lounges and peaceful outside sitting areas. Each guest room has a private bath, television, telephone, and thermostat for comfort control.
The house is handicap accessible, including an elevator, and has ample on-site parking. We strive to keep our room rates low, helping to relieve the financial burden that comes with a loved one receiving medical care.
Room rates range from $0 - $39 per night, depending on which hospital your patient is receiving medical treatment.
OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Carle Health Methodist, and OSF HealthCare Transitional Care all provide a complimentary shuttle service between Family House and the hospital for our guests. Individuals who choose to stay bedside at the hospital are welcome to use our day services, which include shower and laundry facilities. There is no charge to use our day services.
To request a room, please call us at 309-685-5300. You may call beginning at 5:00 a.m. the day of your arrival to request a room. Once you are a guest at Family House, the room is yours for as long as it is needed.

Drive south on Knoxville Avenue (towards downtown Peoria) for 1.3 miles.
Turn left on War Memorial Drive (US 150) and continue for 1 mile.
Turn left on Nebraska Avenue.
Family House is located on the left side at the end of the street.

Drive northeast on Glen Oak Avenue (away from downtown Peoria) for 1 mile.
Turn right on Nebraska Ave.
Family House is located on the left side at the end of the street.
